The New Look of Celestial Seasonings {Tea Giveaway!}

You guys know that I love my tea – and today, I have an awesome giveaway for you!

Celestial Seasonings has unveiled a fresh new look and feel, including completely redesigned tea boxes and a new logo.  They didn’t lose the key elements for which the brand’s packaging is known (that wonderful art!) but now the boxes are more contemporary and simple.   Don’t worry – the Sleepytime bear is here to stay.

 

Inside these pretty new boxes are the same high-quality tea that my whole family has always loved – there have been no changes to the recipes.   But aren’t the new boxes so stylish?  I love the design.  I was pretty partial to the old boxes, so this says a lot!  One of my favorite elements is the thoughtful quotes on the boxes.  Obviously, I love great quotes!

Get excited – CANDY CANE LANE season is coming soon!  That means that it’s almost time to make Candy Cane Lane Cupcakes again! {{Throws teapot shaped confetti into the air}} 

 

And the new boxes continue to be earth-friendly (100% recycled material for the boxes; no strings, staples, or individual wrappers for the bags, which saves 3.5 million pounds of material from landfills every year!).  I am always so impressed that those little changes make such a big difference environmentally.  Every time I drink tea with strings and tabs, I always feel so wasteful now!

 

On that note… Who’s up for a tea party?  Henry and I cordially invite you to one!  I can’t promise that you won’t get tea spilled all over your lap, though…

    I love their honey chamomile tea. I make pitchers of it and ice it for my two year old who just transitioned to his toddler bed. Its been really rough in him and this tea helps him calm down before naps and bed!

    My favorite Celestial Seasonings tea is Sleepytime Throat Tamer. I currently have a cold, and it’s so warm and soothing. When I’m not sick, Sleepytime is very relaxing and tasty!

    My household always stocks Celestial Seasonings. Candy Cane Lane is such a favorite. Really gets me in the holiday season. But year round, Tension Tamer has to be my favorite. Delicious and it really does calm me down. A much healthier alternative to a glass of wine! 😉

    I love plain green tea, preferably organic, with a little bit of lemon added. My addiction is so strong that my husband gave me a small electric tea pot to take with me when I’m away from home. It goes everywhere with me if I’m going to be away overnight. I need my tea first thing in the morning, after lunch and late afternoon. I drink green decaf at dinner time and bedtime. I still drink plenty of water throughout the day but my green tea is VERY important. There’s just something about a cup of tea…… 🙂

    I can drink just about any flavor of tea, but chamomile is my all time fave!

    Is part of the new look that they are individually wrapped now? I know it makes for more trash but I always wished they came individually packaged so I could easily toss them in my bag before work, travel, etc.

    My favorite Celestial is Honey Vanilla Chamomile. It’s especially perfect with Bailey’s on cool winter nights 🙂 I tend to drink English Breakfast most often.

    Aside: when I moved a couple months ago, I got sort of annoyed that Celestial didn’t have individual wrappers because I couldn’t condense my teas down and had to keep them in their original boxes – I’m glad to know what an awesome impact it has on the environment that they DON’T have individual wrappers. I do still love the Yogi Tea tabs for their sayings though.

    Lemon Zinger is my favorite! I was never a tea drinker until five years ago…my mom was in hospice care and Celestial Seasonings was staple at my parents’ house. Now, when I am missing my mom, I make a cup of Lemon Zinger. It is a good memory of such a difficult time.

    PS: These boxes are terrible! Why on earth did they change them? They are so bland that they look like generic herb tea boxes and the other designs were so distinctive that you could always see them on the shelf. This is a big mistake! Tell them.
