I’m baking someone sweet!
We are so excited to announce that I’m pregnant!
And Henry is super pumped to have a sibling (especially if there is cake involved…). In all seriousness, we are confident that he’ll truly enjoy having a baby brother or sister. Henry will be a great big brother.
Kristien and I feel so grateful for the opportunity to become parents again, and we cannot wait to meet our Little One. Baby is due December 1. <3 <3 <3

I’m due with my second on December 8! Mine will only be 15 months apart (yikes).
With them being so close together, my memory is still fresh. They aren’t kidding when they say no two pregnancies are the same. Obvious fatigue aside, this one has been much rougher around the edges. Hoping the second trimester is smoother sailing.
I’m also looking forward to hear how yours compares to your first. Congratulations!

More tired, more nausea (in the beginning). I am definitely bigger sooner. But most of all, it just doesn’t seem like nearly as much of a big deal. In the beginning I would forget for days at a time that I was pregnant. I don’t think about it all the time like I did with the first. And since we’re having another boy, we’ve had to buy ZERO baby stuff.

Okay, this is creepy. We have had the same due dates for both of our pregnancies. I was due 6/13 but delivered 6/9/12 and now I’m also due 12/1. What a crazy coincidence! That’s actually how I found your blog. I loved following another preggo who was due at the same time as me.

I am 14 weeks tomorrow (due Dec 4) and we have only shared with close friends and family. I practically stalking all of your pregnancy posts from Henry, from the beginning of my pregnancy. Between you and Emily Malone, your posts have been SO helpful and I love reading them.
Like you and Kristien, we are waiting until birth to find out the gender. A lot of people said we are crazy and won’t connect with the baby, but I think that is so untrue!
I hope you plan to post updates/comparisons with this pregnancy too. I know as a first time mama to be, they are so valuable and helpful to me. Now on to research Bradley method…..

Hooray!! Congrats! In a somewhat related and probably way too TMI I was curious about the good ole birth control situation as you had the implant done after the first — we are now preggers with #2 as well (due Sept) and I’m really mentally done but don’t want to go back on regular bcp and we don’t want to do anything permanent just yet in case I’m just having a mentally tough pregnancy. I had the IUD removed back in like, October or November? I thought it was making my periods crazy (but then I got it out and my periods were still crazy).

Do you plan to do a weekly update series this time around? I have to say – I know this has always been a “healthy living” blog, but I LOVE the “healthy living” meets “mommy” blog thing that you’ve got going on. Its such a challenge to get or stay in shape as a busy mommy and your series about exercising/baby-growing/life are SO inspiring! Perhaps the topic of a future book??? (specifically targeting a Mom audience)??? *fingers crossed* ; )

Congratulations! I have to say, I’ve been stalking the blog hoping for this post. I started following you when I was pregnant with my son (born a month after Henry) so I was hoping to read some pregnancy posts this time around as well. I’m currently 26 weeks and due in September.
