It’s Monday! Let’s make it great.
We drove home from Tennessee last night, and I immediately went into hyperdrive cleaning mode. My mom’s house is so organized, and it inspired me to pull myself together, too.
Up first – all the junk drawers. How many junk drawers do you have in your house? This is slightly embarrassing, but I have FOUR. No one needs four junk drawers, seriously. I love cleaning out my junk drawers because it’s so quick and easy yet so intensely satisfying.
I challenge you to complete just ONE item off my personal Spring Cleaning List tonight. Heck – just start with your junk drawer!
My goal for tonight is to touch up the paint on all my baseboards. That is no small task, but I think I can get it done pretty quickly if I buckle down.
(Vacuuming is so easy when you own a Neato – and I still owe you a post on our robot vacuum! But the short story is that I LOVE IT.)
Not into cleaning on a Monday? I can’t really blame you. Here are some other ways to make your Monday wonderful…
Try one of Tina’s Crossfit-Inspired Workouts…
Or one of my Track Workouts.
Steep a perfect cup of green tea.
Donate $5 or $10 to your favorite charity or organization.
I listened to the NPR pledge drive all last week, so guess who got my cash?
Text, email, or call a friend that you haven’t spoken to in a while and say hello… Just because you love them. <3
Go to Unroll.Me and remove yourself from annoying junk email subscriptions.
I did this a few weeks back, and it has CHANGED my email!
Post an Operation Beautiful note. <3
Go for a walk with no music, no phone, and no distractions…
…Even if you can only squeeze in a 5 minute stroll during your work lunch break.
Have an amazing Monday. <3 <3 <3
i love the cleaning schedule. might need to implement something like this while packing up the house to avoid taking unnecessary items with us when we move!
