Happy Labor Day! A day off from work, a day to shop, and the symbolic end of summer. Summer is my favorite season, but I must admit that I’m looking forward to fall.
Until then… PEACHES.
Lots and lots of peaches.
We have a rough baby night last night, so I treated both the Husband and myself to a special breakfast. If there’s one thing that makes you feel more human after a sleepless night, it’s a decadent breakfast {and a giant vat of coffee to swim in}.
French toast
Syrup!
Almonds
Coconut
Peaches
For my fellow gluten-free folk: I usually have Udi’s bread but tried this Glutino loaf – so good. Dare I say it’s better than Udi’s?
Yum.
Here’s how I spent Labor Day morning – playing! It’s so fascinating to me to watch Henry’s cognitive and motor skills develop. After weeks of just being a cute little baby lump, the milestones are coming as fast as lightening. This video documents his new ability to anticipate play (when I say “three,†I grab the bottom of the jumper and swing him back and forth).
Have a great day!
That breakfast looks fantastic!
