Open up the July/August issue of Fitness magazine, flip to page 26, and who will you see?
Why, little old me! I recently won the Editor’s Pick for Best Healthy Living Blog in the magazine’s first-ever Fitterati blog awards. I’m so thankful for everyone who voted (nearly 19,000 votes were cast!) and feel very honored to be listed among such great blogs.
Here is a shout out to the 11 other blogs that won awards – I’m sure you’re familiar with a few of them, but hopefully you can find some new blogs to browse (all descriptions from Fitness).

Now it’s your turn. If you’re a blogger, please plug your blog! Tell me what makes it fantastic and unique (because you ARE fantastic and unique) and include your website address. Don’t be shy! Hopefully, we’ll all find some new blogs to read and enjoy!
Thanks for the opportunity to plug our blogs! I think my favorite from the above list is Iowa Girl Eats, mostly because she makes good quality recipes that aren’t intimidating and have the bonus health factor.
My blog ( everylittelthingblog.com ) is about all natural and organic eating, and supporting a hyper-local lifestyle. I work to get most of my food from local sources (farms, markets, co-ops, etc), and support my community (St. Louis!). I’m an active member of Slow Food St. Louis and do whatever I can to support area events, people, restaurants, etc. The majority of my posts are recipes using only all natural foods, and my goal is to show people that buying groceries from their farmer’s market and turning into a quality meal doesn’t have to be intimidating!
Thanks again!
