After six years of owning the dogs, I finally did this:
It’s raining kibble. Hallelujah! It’s raining kibble.
Amen.
I felt like I was feeding chickens on the farm. Here, chickie… chickie.
My breakfast was served in a bowl, not on the floor.
Rice Chex (new random obsession)

FAQ Monday Thursday
FAQ Mondays totally slipped my mind. It’s not too late to play the game, is it? If you want to play along, I’m giving away two copies of the upcoming Healthy Tipping Point book (it comes out on May 1!) to two random commenters. So share your FAQ answers, too! I’ll pick the winners tomorrow AM.
What’s your long-term fitness goal? I would really love to do a Half Ironman one day. Not anytime soon, though! A full Ironman sounds really awesome, but I’ve done a marathon and a century (100 mile) bike ride before separately and both events were so excruciating that I really can’t imagine doing both plus a long swim. A Half Ironman seems very challenging but somewhat realistic… down the road.
If you could make up any two rules (no matter how ridiculous) and everyone had to follow them, what would they be? I would require a mandatory siesta for all workers across America. Every day, at 2 PM, everyone had to go home for an hour and take a nap. I would also institute a mean tax / kindness deduction. If you were mean to someone – whether you’re an adult with road rage or a little kid being a bully – you were fined a small amount. Similarly, if you went out of your way to be kind, you got a little break on your taxes.
What’s currently in your purse? My camera, my wallet, my cell phone, an old lady pill box with prenatal vitamins, a half-dozen receipts, loose change, several DHA supplements that are just rolling around loose, lip chap, business cards, a hair tie, a pen, and a packet of Post-Its for Operation Beautiful notes.
Your turn! Answer one of the FAQ questions for a chance to win the upcoming HTP book.
My longterm fitness goal is to NOT have a goal- to just be in great shape and have endurance because it’s healthy, not because of a race or event.
