Tonight we watched the USA vs. Slovenia match and the England vs. Algeria match. It was INTENSE! I needed wine to get me through the games (both draws).
We drank a Zinfandel from Kokomo, a wine I picked up when I visited Sonoma Valley in May.
Kokomo was the place with the cute winery dogs and animal crackers!
The Zin was SO good! I highly recommend Kokomo.
I snacked on a fruit bowl during the USA match:
Dinner was two biscuits (homemade from Hodgson’s Mills InstaBake mix), corn on the cob, and roasted Brussel sprouts.
Since we’re out of butter (eat it, don’t move it, right?), I roasted some garlic in the oven and then mixed it with olive oil, dried basil, salt, pepper, and balsamic to create my own dipping sauce.
And for dessert, I made brownies from a box mix (more eating it instead of moving it!). The brownies were a good way to heal our souls after such so-so games.
I’ve got to get in bed soon! I’m going to wake up and tackle No More Trouble Zones. Wish me luck!
Which do you prefer: brownies, ice cream, or cookies? Or everything, all mashed together?!
PS – The Winner of the Holistic Select Raffle is Megan from Healthy Hoggin’!
