I am struggling to stay awake – which is bad because I’m probably going to be working/driving until 11:30 or so. I think I’m going to need more coffee!
I found myself eating ice cream straight from the carton this morning. Sugar = alertness (at least temporarily). It was good. :) Breyers is my favorite brand of ice cream because of the short ingredients list. I like single servings of pretty much anything, but I’m not going to buy a whole container of less-than-natural ice cream. There are better options… like Breyers!
This week is probably going to be a pretty relaxed week in terms of workouts. I always say, “Do the best you can given your CURRENT circumstances,†and my current circumstances if that I’m busy and traveling this week. So, long and hard workouts are out of the question. That’s OK with me because I know I’m doing the best I can, relatively speaking.
My best today was Yoga Sculpt, courtesy of ExerciseTV. Her face explains how I initially felt about downward dogs this AM:
But it ended up being all good. :) I love Yoga Sculpt – you actually work up a sweat doing it! I did 25 minutes of the 30 minute program, and then I took James on a 15-minute walk.
Post-workout lunch:
A mix of roasted Brussel sprouts, brown rice, and vegetarian baked beans. The sweetness of the baked beans really complimented the sprouts!
And… I’m off! I need to get ready, get in the car, and drive 2 hours north. I’m meeting my Dad and grandpa for dinner, and then I’m doing an Operation Beautiful presentation for the University of Florida students. I’m excited to meet fellow bloggers Shannon and Jenny as well! If you’re attending the presentation, please be aware the room has changed to 34 Anderson Hall!
What’s your favorite flavor of ice cream? I love: coconut, ginger, coffee, and mint chip! Don’t make me choose just one!
PS – Alison won the Dick’s Sporting Good $50 Gift Card giveaway! Congrats.
I love anything with big chunks of fudge or brownie, but also love moose tracks. mmmm had some last night with some warm chocolate cake. sooo want some now.
