Shopping was a success in that I managed to post a LOT of Operation Beautiful notes!
Also, I saw SANTA!!! He was too skinny to be the real Santa. π
I donΓ’β¬β’t know what was wrong with me today Γ’β¬β the Husband and Harry totally out-shopped me. I just find malls really draining in my old age! π
I am on the hunt for boots, but IΓ’β¬β’m not sure I want to buy one that are real leather, which drastically narrows my options. I did, however, find a sweater dress and a sweater. Also, I debated buying this sweet hat (just kidding).
Not going to lie, when I saw these rainbow print dachshund sneakers, I almost bought them. :) The look on HusbandΓ’β¬β’s face said, Γ’β¬ΕNo way in hell, Caitlin!Γ’β¬Β I thought they were cool.
To fuel me through shopping, I had a Gingerbread Spice Latte. It feels like the holidays with seasonal blends from Starbucks (plus, red cups!).
I also had a handful of almonds and a Clif bar that I found in the bottom of my purse.
Well, I fully intended to go on a run after our shopping excursion, but then my sister-in-law called and said she was in town! Yay! We were pretty excited to see her and decided to take her out to dinner at our favorite Thai restaurant.
The waitress asked my Husband if Sophie was REALLY his sister because she is so pretty. Haha! IΓ’β¬β’m not sure what that was implying, but it made me laugh. I donΓ’β¬β’t think they look alike either. What do you think?
I had a Thai beer:
And Tofu Pa-Naag with rice.
It was soooo good, but I left the restaurant feeling painfully full. Although, not too full to eat some ice cream when I got back to the house! π
Now, weΓ’β¬β’re home and gearing up to watch Star Trek. HereΓ’β¬β’s hoping itΓ’β¬β’s a good movie (I love Sci Fi!).
Have a wonderful Sunday evening!
Lol, you’re husband look sooo serious in that first picture for some reason.
And all this Starbucks is now causing me to brew some coffee for latenight studying
