I was SO excited to take a photography course tonight. This class was all about the Canon Rebel (I have the XS), and it was really helpful. I think the biggest lesson I took away from the class was not to be afraid to play with the setting on the camera. ItΓ’β¬β’s not going to break if you change the ISO! π
It was taught by one of the owners of the local camera shop. For $35, I got a 3-hour crash-course in basic photography and what all the buttons on my camera mean.
I learned a lot, and IΓ’β¬β’ll be sure to do a full recap of the class sometime next week!
One of the neatest things about the class was the variety of people there! There were girls younger than me, older men, middle-aged women Γ’β¬β a great mix. I guess everyone likes to take pretty pictures! The course definitely made me extremely excited to play with Rebella more. I wish I had more people to take photographs of (instead of the dogs). The Husband is SHY!
After class let out, I dashed to the nearby Whole Foods in an attempt to raid the hot bar before it was closed down.
I ALMOST got there in time!
I did manage to put together a semi-decent meals on the trays that were still available. I had Chickpea Marsala (spicy!) with brown rice and mixed veggies. I ate about half of this:
I practiced good carb loading this afternoon, donΓ’β¬β’t worry! I had an apple:
A Clif Bar:
Granola and almond milk:
And several more servings (probably 2) of Cheddar Popcorn. TOTAL MINDLESS EATING. It was delicious though. :) CanΓ’β¬β’t go wrong with cheesy popcorn.
Well, kids Γ’β¬β IΓ’β¬β’m off! Sorry for the short and sweet post. I need to pull together my race gear and prep for my Half Marathon! Plus, IΓ’β¬β’ve got to be awake at 4:45 AM Γ’β¬β ugh.
HAVE A TRULY WONDERFUL FRIDAY!
See you with a race recap!
I have total camera envy, and I don’t even take that many pictures! Glad you enjoyed the course. Good luck at your race tomorrow!!
