I spent some quality time with my favorite fur-son this morning. 🙂
James came with me as I ran some errands, and then we drove to downtown Orlando so I could pick up some farmers’ market veggies and do some work. Maggie stayed at home because she’s 1) bad with crowds; 2) crazy; and 3) lazy.
I was really, really hungry by the time we got to the Farmers’ Market, so I bought a Egg and Veggie Crepe. Standing in line with James was fun because there was a male German Shepherd in front of us and he looked SO HUGE next to tiny James. Its funny, but I don’t realize how small my dogs are until they are next to big ones.
The Egg and Veggie Crepe was stuffed with a hard boiled egg, cheddar cheese, spinach, mushrooms, onions, and peppers. I’m always tempted by the “sweet†crepes, but after two bites of butter-sugar-Nutella-banana, I want to go into a sugar fit and die.
Mmm! I ate about 2/3.
We sat in the grass for a while and I got a lot of work for the Operation Beautiful book done. I’m currently experiencing writer’s block in general, so this was a GOOD thing!
James just hung out with me and stared at the other doggies. He’s so good.
Time to head to the grocery store to pick up a few items that the farmers’ market didn’t have, and then I’m going to EXERCISE! Yay!
Do you like to spend time with other people or alone? I really like to hang out with my friends and the Husband, but there is something so amazing about being solo. I love it.
Sometimes I just feel like I need solo-time to get my sanity back. Usually the bf and I are good about giving each other space when we both need it. It can be refreshing to spend some time with yourself, I find it makes me a better partner in the long run.
James is to cute – I love his short little legs and long tail.
