I woke up at 5:30 AM to have some time to myself. I get my best work done before the sun rises, and today I was just a busy little bee. Around 6:40, I took a break to do some strength training moves:
- 30 crunches with 3 lb weight push-ups (a No More Trouble Zones move)
- 30 push-ups
- 10 v-fly sit-ups
- 6 10-second wall squats
- Physical Therapy knee moves
And then I made breakfast:
I had two whole wheat waffles that I topped with Greek yogurt, maple syrup, a sliced banana, and almonds.
Honestly, it was the best breakfast I’ve had in a while.
I’m declaring today Breakfast Day. I have fun breakfast meals planned for lunch and dinner — I just LOVE breakfast. It is by far my favorite (and the best tasting) meal of the day.
43 Marathons in 7 Weeks
British comedian Eddie Izzard just finished a 1,110-mile long run for charity. He ran 6 days a week for 7 weeks.
According to this article, Eddie, 47, failed to beat his five hour target for the final marathon by just 30 seconds. He said: "I don’t think what I did was that amazing. Anyone could do it." (ummmm, no).
Eddie went through 14 pairs of shoes and lost several toenails.
Crazy, huh?
That's just incredible – He really had never run more than 5 miles before!!! Its amazing what our bodies have the potential to do.
Breakfast day sounds wonderful, its my favorite meal too!
