I could barely sleep last night because I’m so excited for the Healthy Living Summit. The simple solution to ensure I get a good nights sleep in tonight: Two-a-days! Exercise always exhausts me in a deep, deep slumber!
First up: running! Before my run, I had some dates and almonds.
I did a 6.0-mile run around the beautiful downtown Orlando.
Three cheers for flat land! :) I do NOT miss the hills in Tennessee at all!
Here are my statistics:
- Duration: 59 minutes 57 seconds
- Distance: 6.0 miles
I came home and was greeted by my wonderful hubby, who had brought me FLOWERS!
Love him! 🙂
We both ate a bowl of granola (this is about 2 servings):
And then we took off on a bike ride!
We only got to do 6 miles before it started to thunder and rain, so we hightailed it back home ASAP!
- Duration: 30 minutes
- Distance: 6 miles
We came home and I tackled my very long to-do list. The Husband made dinner:
He made whole wheat pasta with kidney beans and pinto beans, pasta sauce, and a mix of roasted veggies. I couldn’t finish all the veggies, though! It was good.
Next up: an army of gingerbread men!
I ate a little iced man for dessert:
Nom nom nom! These guys will be going up for auction at the Healthy Living Summit, with proceeds to benefit Team in Training and the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society!
