It is crunch time for me, both literally and figuratively.
It’s figuratively crunch time because I have a VERY busy week planned. It’s the final push for the Healthy Living Summit planning, I have a bunch of huge projects at work, and I’m going on vacation next week (to Powell, Tennessee and Boston). Yay! Very exciting, but lots to do.
It’s literally crunch time because I did a great mini-strength training workout this morning. I’m so glad I switched over my all-or-nothing attitude from thinking strength training didn’t "count" unless I was putting in 30 minutes at the gym. I feel like I actually do more training now that I’m satisified with mini-sets.
I did:
- 100 bicycle crunches
- 30 push-ups
- 10 bench presses using Maggie as a weight.
Perfect for bench pressing:
Too big and squirmy for bench pressing:
Cheesey face.
Breakfast was simple and delish. The star was this cereal:
Which I had with skim milk and a sliced banana:
Rachel said, "I put this up at work and it’s been there for over a week!"
Head over to Operation Beautiful to see the rest of the notes — including a note from a guy and a story of a note found!
Good luck with all the To Dos this week! I bet you cannot wait to feel the relief of vaca!!! Cute pics of the puppers. I can never decide who I want to give a bigger hug to James or Maggie !
