I did a little shopping this afternoon for the Healthy Living Summit. I feel like I have a closet of clothes but nothing to wear to the conference itself! One of the trouble with working from home is that you basically live in sweatpants. π
Fuel for shopping:
I made a Green Monster with Amazing Grass, unsweet almond breeze, a banana, and ice. So refreshing.
Then, I tackled the mall. I didn’t have much luck finding stuff that worked, although I did have a lot of fun looking. π
Fail:
I did have a lot of opportunities to post Operation Beautiful notes, though! π
I ended up buying:
A pretty casual shirt, St. Ives Apricot Scrub (best… thing… ever), and a poor women’s Garmin (aka a $9 watch from Target).
Somewhere, the Husband is breathing a sigh of relief and clutching our credit cards….. LOL
I came home and heated up last night’s leftovers. I stuffed the breaded eggplant, polenta, and pasta sauce into a Flat Out wrap.
Everything tastes better in wrap form, if you ask me!
What do you think of the current styles out there? I think some are nice, but (this is going to make me sound really old) the shorts are all TOO SHORT! Remember when Bermuda shorts were all the rage?* I miss those days. Also, can someone please explain leggings to me?
* I have been informed that Bermuda shorts are, in fact, still cool and on sale at Old Navy. Yesssssssssss!
I agree with you about the styles right now… and as someone who teaches in a middle school, the shorts ARE too short… and leggings do not interest me at all! I think it's pretty sad when the pockets in shorts are actually longer than the shorts themselves (has anyone noticed this trend??)!! I also dislike the very baggy look for tops and dresses that's in… not too flattering!!
