I know what I’m going to be for Halloween this year!
Ayyyye Matey!
I went into my part-time job for an hour to get some absolutely necessary stuff done, and then I waited outside Vision Works until they opened at 9 AM. Luckily, they had an appointment available.
The doctor diagnosed me with a cornea ulcer resulting in keratitis, condition in which the eye’s cornea becomes inflamed. Oh, plus I have conjunctivitis. Awesome! ๐
She said it’s most likely from my contacts, which I’ll admit I am not great about changing and cleaning.
She wrote me a prescription for eye drops and said if I got very "aggressive" with the drops, I would feel pain relief almost immediately.
I ate a fruit cup while waiting for my ‘script to be filled:
I came home and started eye dropping like it was my fourth job. I’ve been using the drops for about two hours and the pain is already reduced A LOT. I have faith my eye will heal to an acceptable level before tomorrow — now I just need to jimmy rig my glasses onto my sunglasses. :) Knock on wood, everyone!
Lunch was divine. It felt good to eat a "real meal" after relying mostly on PB and crackers for the last few days.
I totally forgot how delish lentils are! I made a wrap with lentils, cheddar cheese, and steamed broc. Plus a side salad.
My BFF Sarah and I just spent an hour gabbing on the phone about her upcoming wedding (she’s the one who just got engaged). I AM SO EXCITED for her wedding! They’ve set July 3, 2010 as the tentative date, which is also our 1 year, 6 month wedding anniversary. I can’t wait to be her bridesmaid/slave — it’s going to be a blasty!
Off to go nurse my eye. I WILL BE RACING TOMORROW!!!
great mix in your wrap!! I always forget about how good lentils are and how nutritious they are too!!! Have a great day and love the patch!
