Good afternoon! Lunch was pretty simple: soup and salad!
I had 1 cup of the Wolfgang Puck Organic Tortilla soup, which I boosted up with about 1/3 block of baked tofu (leftovers from the weekend).
Plus a nice crunchy salad.
And I just snacked on my first mid-afternoon snackie: Chobani + a crushed Kashi TLC bar.
Healthy Living Summit Update!
If you’re a reader of Carrots N Cake, you might have noticed that Tina was scoping out a site for the Healthy Living Summit. We should be announcing the details for the summit SOON (like, this week!).
The summit is envisioned as a weekend-long event in which members of our lovely blogging community (bloggers + readers alike) can get together and discuss all things food, fitness, and life-related! We’re going to have tons of great product demonstrations, taste-tests, informational speeches, panel presentations, a cocktail hour, a fun 5K run, and more! Basically… it’s going to be awesome!
The idea for the summit started when Kath, Tina, Meghann, Heather, Jenna and I exchanged a few e-mails about how we all wanted to meet each other in real life. A blog meet-up evolved into a 100-person conference, and next thing you know, we’ve secured sponsorship from a very popular national company! It just goes to show you should DREAM BIG!
Again, stay tuned for more info!
If you could meet any blogger in "real life", who would it be and why? I am very excited to meet EVERYONE, but I really want to meet Heather from HangryPants. She seems so smart, fun, and thoughtful, and I bet we’ll have some interesting conversations! Oh, I’d also like to meet Nate from The Blog Stalker. We could eat pancakes, watch Twilight, and drog (get drunk and blog) together.
Hmm… that's a tough one! I've already met bunches of bloggers that I really wanted to meet like Jenn (Eating Bender) and Rose (On a Lobster Placemat)… I'd love to meet Kath, and I think I am when she's in Chicago in July! OH and MizFit, just because she's a freaking rockstar! And of course, all of you summit-planning girls 🙂
