Evening! I feel much better…. relaxed, rejuvenated, and calm. To be honest, I can’t WAIT to go pound the pavement again — I am definitely going on a light run tomorrow! 🙂
I grabbed three Girl Scout cookies as my mid-afternoon snack. Not exactly the MOST nutritious selection, but boy-oh-boy, these were yummy!
Then, the Husband picked up my mother-in-law from the airport. She just spent two weeks in England with my sister-in-law and said it was veryyyy cold in the UK! We sat on the couch discussing her vacation and drinking tea, British-style.
Like our teapot? It’s the Tower of London. 🙂
My mother-in-law brought us yummy British chocolates, too! I had a handful of these Maltesers. These are way better than Whoppers. Something about British chocolate is FAR superior to American chocolate (probably because they actually use cocoa!).
For dinner, I made a yummy Salmon Roast. Yes, MORE fish!
I roasted salmon with some salt, pepper, and EVOO. I also roasted some chopped celery and carrots, and mixed everything together with some wild rice.
Yum!
And we opened a new bottle of wine. It’s a Chateau La Papeterie Montagne-Saint-Emilion (2001). I had a small glass.
More Wedding Pictures!
My mother-in-law brought over a CD of some wedding presents from our British family members…. here are a few!
(MMMM cake!)
Our best man and maid of honor giving us post-ceremony mental support (so emotional).
With our parents.
My one million bridesmaids. 🙂
One of these days I have to post a rehearsal dinner and wedding recap. I have tons of good food pictures, including the best steak of my life. It’s so strange to think it’s been 60 days or so since the big day….. how time flies!
What was the best day of your life and why?
CUTEST TEAPOT EVER!!! I collect them, so that made me quite excited, haha 😀
Beyond stunning wedding photos!!!
