Tonight, I won the fight! I don’t really talk too much about work for privacy purposes, but I have mentioned that it has been a total doozy lately. I have SO much work to do, which in this economy and in my industry (housing) is GREAT, but I’ve pulled 11 hour days 3 days in a row!
I ended up working until 7:00 PM, and I was determined NOT to blow off my workout. I didn’t have the time to go to the gym, so I opted for a quickie 5K in the dark.
I was hauling butt and managed to pull of a really decent non-race time!
- Duration: 27:30 minutes (3.1 miles)
- Calories Burned: 240 (estimate; HRM is still broken)
These crazy hours really makes me respect how *hard* it sometimes is to squeeze in a workout. Again, I just need to remember that running is a commitment to myself, and I CANNOT blow it off regularly.
Maggie is pissed I’m working so much, too! She sits in a chair next to me all day and occasionally gives me kisses… I love her.

Dinner was soooo delicious! Jenna recommended I try the nine grain pizza dough from Publix Greenwise grocery store, and trust me — this organic dough DID NOT disappoint.
In addition to the pizza sauce and cheese, I added chopped green pepper and bella mushrooms. Drool worthy!
