Well, I truly intended to maintain my blogging through Saturday morning, but obviously I haven’t been able to do that at all! Things have been pretty hectic here since Tuesday when our guests started to arrive.
I got a good 8 hours of sleep last night — thank goodness! It’s been so nutso here that I’ve been eating super sporadically (read: not really enough veggies and fruits and lots of on-the-go things like PB sammies) and I haven’t managed to work out since MONDAY! Pictures have been impossible.
But of course I am so excited. This has felt like an amazing journey. On Saturday, I will make the easiest and best decision of my life, and we’re looking forward to married life so much! After 5 years, it will be nice to call each other "husband" and "wife"! It’s strange to think I first met Future Hus when I was only 18 (we didn’t start to date right away).
Meghann will be posting a FULL WEDDING RECAP on this blog (and her own, I’m sure) tomorrow evening or Sunday morning. Jenna from Eat, Live, Run is also coming to the wedding, so there will be some pictures on her blog! I know a lot of you want to see *the dress* (my favorite part of weddings, too!) so come back later and check it out! :) I didn’t want to leave you guys hanging until January 14!
My post-wedding blogging plans? Well, of course I’ll still be blogging. I get so much out of blogging; it’s made me a faster runner and a cleaner eater and (sometimes) a creative chef. "Meeting" the blogging community electronically and in real life has been a true blessing in my life.
The blog will have a NEW name, which I will hopefully think on while on the honeymoon!
2009 looks like it will be filled with tons of races of all distances and other exciting challenges, so please come back on January 14! I will miss you ALL, and I can’t wait to catch up on your blog when I return!
See you for the wedding recap tomorrow or Sunday! Thanks again for sharing this part of my life with me, and I’ll "see" you soon!!!
Aw- I will miss you much 🙂 Have fun! Cannot wait to see the pics (I think I’ve said this to you 10 times haha). Enjoy the honeymoon!
