Our appointment with the golf club lasted several hours, so hitting the gym was out of the question. But, we got so much stuff done! All the details (and payments) are coming together….. yay!
My one piece of advice to brides out there is make sure you book a quality reception site. If you want to book a venue that does the food as well, pick a site that won’t nickel and dime you in the end. We chose a place that was pricey up front, but now they are giving us so many things for free. Truly, you PAY for what you get.
On the way home, I was starting to get crabby from hunger. When my blood sugar starts to crash, I just become sooo irritable, my head aches, my skin always feels so tight. I’m working on not letting my hunger overrule my emotions just because I can’t instantaneously get food in my belly. :) Otherwise, I’m just acting like a big baby!
We stopped at Wildside BBQ on the way home. I love upscale BBQ!
We split a side salad to start off.
And then we split the BBQ sampler. For $17.99, you get a LOT of meat. From left to right: fries, coleslaw, pulled pork, 1/2 roasted chicken, and 5 ribs.
Here’s my plate:
I didn’t eat the rib in the end…. too much food! :) Future Husband inhaled the rest.
Other Eats of the Day
Before I left for the golf club, I had a Muscle Milk Light smoothie (I thought I was going to get the gym):
Other afternoon munchies included… peanuts:
A pear…
1/2 cup praline granola and 1/4 cup yogurt.
And I gave loads of kisses to a little wiener doodle:
My little piglet 🙂
Have a great night!
What a cute little piglet 🙂
Glad to hear everything went well with the reception site! By the time I get married I am going to have so much advice from all the bloggers it’ll be perfect! I love hearing about your wedding details!
