….Enough to drop $335.
ECK! In my defense, that includes booze for the rehearsal dinner. When I booked the restaurant, I got them to agree to a $100 flat corkage fee so we could bring our own alcohol. They agreed — not knowing what big drinkers our friends and family are! 🙂
We got loads of different whites and reds, including merlot, malbec, riesling, shiraz, chardonnay, and pinot grigio.
And six bottles of Korbel champagne, which is what we drank after Future Husband proposed. 🙂
There’s going to be about 30 people at the rehearsal dinner, but I’m a firm believer that it’s better to have extra booze than not enough. Plus, some of that champagne will likely be drunk for breakfast before the wedding (by me, I’m going to need it).
Going back to breakfast, I made oatmeal (of course) with pumpkin granola and coconut.
I intended to go for a run after my oatmeal digested, but Future Husband wanted to get shopping over with, so we went to Costco. Since it’s Sample Sunday, I tried LOADS of cheeses, crackers, spreads, pastries, ham, etc. It probably totaled up to 300 calories or so. Yay for free snacks!
When we came home, I made a turkey deli meat sammie.
The *star* of this sammie was Cabot Private Stock cheddar cheese. I’m pretty obsessed with Cabot (we got 1.5 lbs for $8 at Costco!!). The alfalfa sprouts were a nice addition, too!
OK – once my food digests, I’m going to go on a LONG, LONG run! I need to pile on the miles! 🙂
Gotta love Costco– especially sample day! Hope you enjoyed your amzing looking sammie!
