WOAH – I am beat.  This kennel job takes me back to my bartending days.  Except I’m cleaning up after puppies instead of drunks!

My shift started out at 7 AM.  I walked about thirty dogs for morning poops and pees, and then I fed them all.  By the time I was done feeding, I had to go BACK and walk them all again.  Then, I swept, vacuumed, and mopped the ENTIRE kennel.  And then I walked thirty dogs again and played lots of fetch.

I literally walked EVERY time of dogs, from 100 pound labs and five pound teacup Pomeranians.  I got peed on, barked at, bitten (not badly!), and crawled all over!  It was a LOT of fun, but a LOT of work.  I feel like I ran a half marathon!

My half-hour lunch break consisted of a turkey and cheese sammie.

When my shift was over at 4 PM, I came home, showered, threw my dirty clothes in the laundry, and collapsed on the couch.  My hunger (I must have burned 1,000 calories!!) motivated me to rise from the couch and make yogurt + granola…

WEDDING DRESS UPDATE!!!!!!!!!!!!

After watching two hours of wedding TV shows (I am so addicted to this crap right now), I unglued my ass long enough to TRY ON MY DRESS…. and it definitely fits me a lot better than it did 2.5 weeks ago!!!

It might need some alterations still, but I’m on the right path.  Either way, I’m very happy with my dress and can’t wait to wear it in 36 days.  Yayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!

On that note, time to go sample WEDDING CAKE with Future Husband.  I’ll give you the review tomorrow. 🙂
