Good morning! Dinner at Seasons 52 was so fun.
I love this restaurant. Everything on the menu is under 475 calories and nothing is deep fried or coated in butter.
I had roasted quail in a whiskey-maple syrup sauce with whipped sweet potato and roasted veggies.
It was soooo good. The quail melted in my mouth! It was especially delicious with my glass of Riesling. Future Husband had crab-stuffed shrimp — it was also divine!
We split four of the shot-glass desserts.
From left to right: caramel macchiato, pecan pie, key lime pie, peanut butter swirl. I tried a bit of each and then ate the rest of the pecan pie (Future Hus devoured the rest).
When I woke up, I wasn’t very hungry so I just made an English muffin sammie with a fried egg and some cheddar cheese.
Then, I went on a quick run. I did 3.5 miles in the SUNSHINE!!! Yay for weekend runs!

After the run, I made a quickie lunch. After microwaving a small sweet potato, I topped it with black beans.
Knowing I also needed some fat, I added a few slices of chicken deli meat and cheese to the side.
Plus, a side salad:
Time to get going! I’m meeting Meghann, her sister, and a reader named Jen for a bike ride! 🙂
Have a great day!
Oh- edited to add: a few of those candy cane oreos just snuck into my mouth! I’m giving the rest to Future Husband.
Yay for dinner dates! I love those little shot glass desserts – because mini things are cute. But knowing my sweet tooth, I’d probably feel jipped about not getting a full size treat!
