Good evening! My first day of WATER RUNNING was so much fun!
I thought the concept of water running would be easier to explain via VIDEO, so here’s your first look at me in motion (Oh, the video cut off the beginning, but all you missed was, "Hey guys! It’s Caitlin!"):
Sorry if it’s kind of hard to understand me! The pool is loud and everything ECHOES-ECHOES-ECHOES! 🙂
I water ran for 45 minutes. It was a fun work out, and the water dumbbells definitely helped me burn MORE calories and work my arm muscles, too! And yes…. I wore shorts in the pool. 🙂 The only swimsuits I own are string bikinis.
Here are my statistics:
- Duration: 45 minutes
- Average Heart Rate: 120 bpm
- Maximum Heart Rate: 135 bpm
- Calories Burned: 223
As you can tell from my statistics, water running is DEFINITELY not as intense as regular running…. but it was really FUN and I’m SO pumped about this new workout! Plus, no pain in my knees! Yay!
After our workouts, we headed to the grocery store. I snacked on two slices of deli meat and a slice of cheese at the deli counter.
Dinner – Guest Chef!
Future Husband did the cooking tonight! He made Chicken Asparagus Szechuan Stir Fry. We added two pineapple rings on the top.
Hubs LOVES sauces, so we bought a new one to try:
The pineapple definitely added a little SOMETHING SOMETHING! Plus, it cooled down the sauce A LOT. It was VERY spicy!
And we finally purchased some brown rice, which is just so much more pleasing to my palette than white rice.
And… for dessert… I had a Z-Bar. No picture… but yes, I purchased MORE! ECK!
Mid-Day Snacks
Since we were out of pretty much EVERYTHING, I had to subside on carbs+ PB. Mid-Day Snack #1:
And Mid-Day Snack #2 (a frozen waffle, PB, banana, and a drizzle of maple syrup):
Do you see the smiley face of PB and the banana hairdo? 🙂
Time for trashy TV! Have a wonderful night!
You go girl! You are a movie star now! Love the video and detailed instruction! Also, dinner looks amazing 🙂
