After my 6.0 miler today, I made a serious rookie mistake… I thought I could get by without a snack before dinner. Seriously, I have no idea why I thought this would be a good idea.
I ended up shaking, starving, and sick to my stomach by the time I plated dinner. After slamming TWO glasses of milk before I ate, I felt better. ARG! What a rookie mistakes!
Anyways, here are my statistics:
- Duration: 1 hour, 2 minutes
- Average Heart Rate: 159 bpm
- Maximum Heart Rate: 198 bpm
- Calories Burned: 502
And here are my eats:
As I said, I had two glasses of skim milk (which made me feel much better).
And for dinner, I made mini polenta sliders. I cut a polenta roll into four thin pieces and baked at 350 degrees for 25 minutes. Meanwhile, I made two tiny burgers (maybe with 0.25 ground turkey meat, 99% fat free), melting cheddar cheese on top at the last moment.
OOO these were so delicious! No bread required.
And a side of vegetables…. boring, but necessary. 🙂
Mid-Day Snacks
I didn’t property re-fuel after my run, but I did have a good pre-run snack…. two pieces of WW (tiny ones) and a tablespoon or two of PB.
Earlier, I realized I needed a vegetable in my life and had some carrots and raw green peppers.
Maggie loves green peppers, too!
And even earlier… I had Uncle Sam’s Original cereal+ plain non fat yogurt+ trail mix.
Sorry to cut this short, but The Biggest Loser is on, and my tivo beckons! Good night! 🙂
